the day is finally here and Shownu is the first MONSTA X member to join the Army, said goodbye to his fans. After showing off his new look for the Army, MONSTA X’s Shownu made his entrance on the afternoon of July 22 (KST) to fulfill his mandatory military service, the date of which was announced at the beginning of the seventh month of the year 2021.

Korean media released various photos of the artist and his fellow K-pop group members accompanying him to the Training Center, where he will receive basic instructions before starting his service. Likewise, Shownu left a video for his MONBEBE, where he says goodbye to them and asks that they continue to support him during his hiatus from military service.

The clip that was uploaded to YouTube was announced on Talk Tok and thanks to Kihyun, who has been posting on various interactive platforms with his fans about his friend.

This is the English translation of Shownu’s message to his MONBEBE: “Hello! The day has come to enlist in the Army.

In fact, I’ve been thinking for a long time, so in my case I don’t feel much pressure. Sorry for the late notice to fans. I’m healthy and I know how to fit in well, so don’t worry about me. I’ll do whatever it takes for now, so take care of yourself and have fun without Shownu. I love you. See you soon! Goodbye!“.
