MONSTA X has returned with Unfold, their latest full English album and an important release in the group’s career. The project arrived on April 3, 2026, at midnight and was accompanied by the official music video for “Heal,” a smooth midtempo song inspired by soul and gospel sounds. With this project, the boy group becomes the first KPop act to release three full English albums. Unfold now shows that MONSTA X are continuing to build an international fanbase and popularity, while keeping their own style.  Unfold also includes the songs “Growing Pains” and “Baby Blue,” which were first performed at the 2025 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball.

This achievement also connects to the boy group’s earlier success. In 2020, MONSTA X became only the third KPop act to enter the top 10 of the Billboard 200 when All About Luv debuted at #5. Then, in 2021, the group released The Dreaming, which later reached #21 on the same chart. These milestones helped establish the boy band as one of the few KPop groups able to chart and compete with other albums made by English-speaking artists.

The group also enters this era after a meaningful anniversary. In December 2025, MONSTA X celebrated 10 years together through the Connect X concert film, which honored group members Joohoney, I.M, Hyungwon, Kihyun, Minhyuk, and Shownu, along with their fans, MONBEBE. Last year, the remaining three members, Joohoney, Hyungwon, and Kihyun, completed military service, and the group returned with The X EP in September 2025.
