A few years ago the news of a reboot of The Exorcist came out, making people freak out, as it seems that we would be in a trend of remakes and reboots of classic productions, as is the case of Michael Mayers and Halloween.

Halloween returned to the movies as a trilogy a few years ago ending with Halloween Ends, which was believed to be its end, but we were all wrong, as it seems that the terrifying character will be returning but now in the format of a series and fans have not been able to stop commenting, as a debate has been generated around the news.

When Halloween Ends came as the end of the trilogy, many people were upset, indicating that it was not necessary for it to exist, but in the end, it did not have such bad results, but now what is terrifying is that the franchise will become a series, especially because of who won the rights for a production, making the public now feel more afraid, since they do not want one of their favorite characters to be ruined.

Michael Myers and Halloween to return to the screen as a series

Miramax has triumphed in a competition with big studios like A24 and Blumhouse, acquiring the rights from Trancas International Films. Michael Myers and Halloween to return to the screen as a series.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Halloween to television. We are thrilled to extend our long and successful partnership with Trancas and the brilliant Malek Akkad as we introduce this iconic franchise to a new form of storytelling and a new generation of fans.”

The news has divided many opinions among fans, as there are some who claim that the only production company capable of doing something good for the series is none other than A24 and the fact that they did not win the license makes everyone fear for the quality of production we will have in the future.
