The 2024 gala, scheduled for May 6, will take place in tandem with the Costume Institute’s “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, according to a report released by Vogue on Thursday. The evening’s dress code is “The Garden of Time.”
More than $223.5 million has been generated for the museum’s Costume Institute through the annual Met Gala, which combines pop culture stars and influential people with fashion. The most interesting thing about the Met Gala 2024 of course is the exclusive guest list, where Chris Hemsworth’s name quickly stood out and he shared his excitement with an adorable message:
“Anyone got a Garden of Time outfit I can borrow,” Hemsworth wrote in an Instagram post alongside the text message chain.

“More modern, less delicate pieces imbued with the same spirit as the spotlit fashions will be showcased alongside them, and broken up into three sub-themes: Land, Sea, and Sky,” Vogue wrote.
