Meghan Markle is back in the spotlight in the United States due to her recent displays of kindness which might improve the public’s opinion about her. Kelly McKee Zajfen, one of Meghan’s best friends, decided to honor her on Mother’s Day by dedicating a post on Instagram to her and describing her as an “incredible friend and mother.”
Last summer, Kelly tragically lost her nine-year-old son, George. He was found unresponsive at home and first responders were not able to save his life. To honor George’s life, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle donated $5.000 to a GoFundMe fundraiser under the name of their children, Archie and Lilibet.
Kelly is also co-founder of the Alliance of Moms. A community of philanthropists who support pregnant and parenting teens in Los Angeles’ foster care system. On Mother’s Day, the model decided to show her gratitude towards Meghan with an Instagram post:
“As Mother’s Day approaches, I can’t help but think of my own #CommUNITY of motherhood. I instantly think of you Meg. How incredibly nurturing and warm and open you are. What an incredible friend and mother. I’m truly in awe of you and I am so grateful you are part of my #CommUNITYofmotherhood”
Although the Duchess of Sussex has been involved in several controversies, some people believe that her constant displays of kindness will improve her reputation and the American people will start to support her but only time will tell.
