Meghan Markle has had an estranged relationship with her father, Thomas Markle, since their dispute during Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding. They haven’t spoken to each other since 2018 and Thomas is doing everything to contact the Duchess, even making comparisons with King Charles III.
Thomas Markle recently compared himself to the current British monarch saying that they have been battling respectively health woes while being estranged from their children. The comments rely on the fact that Meghan’s father hasn’t met Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie, just like King Charles III.
“Neither of us deserves the treatment we’ve received. He is going through cancer treatment, and I’m not in the best of health. I have so many questions I’d like to ask Meghan and Harry. The main one being, why have they treated not only me but the royal family and the king so badly?”
Previously he issued a desperate plea to Meghan Markle to let him meet his grandchildren and asked her politely as his wish for his 80th birthday. Meghan hasn’t released any kind of statement regarding the awkward situation, which is getting attention from all the British media outlets.
