Meghan Markle paid homage to the late Princess Diana while going on a walk in the streets of California. During the last couple of months, she has been in the because of her negative and controversial declarations against the royal family which caused a stir in the United Kingdom.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s coronation took place on May 6 at Westminster Abbey. However, the Duchess of Sussex decided to not attend because she wanted to avoid bringing more controversies to the family. In addition, she wanted to celebrate Prince Archie’s birthday which was on the same day.
According to Daily Mail, Meghan Markle threw a birthday party for Archie and invited some of her closest friends. The next day, Meghan went on a walk in the streets of California. and the media immediately noticed that she was wearing the Cartier Watch that she inherited from the late Princess Diana.
After the photos were revealed, people said that she was clearly paying homage to Diana by wearing her watch and wanted to make sure that everyone still remembered her. Diana continues to be one of the most prominent figures of the royal family and her legacy lives on after all these years.
