Since her announcement that she will not be attending the coronation of King Charles III, Meghan Markle has once again appeared in front of the cameras, and has come under fire for her new look, some saying she looks suspiciously like her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.
The Duchess of Sussex showed off a sleek, completely straight haircut while on a video call with her photographer friend Misan Harriman over the weekend, sparking a flurry of commentary and speculation among royal fans on social media over her physical change, which according to netizens has resulted in a number of plastic surgeries on her face.
“Plastic surgery alert? How sad that Meghan Markle wants to be Kate Middleton so badly“, commented an intrepid Twitter user, referring to Meghan’s new look, where he implied that perhaps the duchess had more than just her hair touched up.
Another netizen claimed that Meghan would have worn contact lenses, in order to lighten her eyes and look more like Princess Kate Middleton. “OMG. Meghan Markle, jealous and obsessed with the Princess of Wales, wears hazel contacts to look like Kate“.

“Meghan hasn’t had plastic surgery“, one user claimed. “It’s all about lighting, angles and contouring. And straightening her hair is something a lot of black women do. It has nothing to do with ‘erasing all traces of origin.’ Besides, white people have to shut up about black women’s hair“, she added in her commentary, defending the duchess from attacks on her appearance.
