Meghan Markle might get the last laugh as she was able to take revenge on Kate Middleton and humiliate her just before King Charles III’s coronation. The event is just a few weeks away but the stakes are high since the royal family continues to be affected by the several controversies surrounding them.
Earlier this year, Meghan made some shocking declarations about the royals, especially Prince William and Kate Middleton, and even went as far as saying that she suffered some racist attacks and was criticized for the color of her skin. Since then, the two ladies’ relationship has gone downhill.
It is not surprising that some members of the royal family do not like the idea of Meghan Markle attending royal events after everyone she has done. King Charles III reportedly only invited her to Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral to abide by royal protocols.
According to a source close to the family, Prince Harry was told to go alone to the funeral. However, the Duchess of Sussex stood up for herself and decided to go to Balmoral Castle saying that if Kate Middleton is allowed to attend, so will she.
During the funeral, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had to sit at the front according to royal protocols. Similarly, the Prince and Princess of Wales were told to sit behind them. This, combined with the warm welcome and support that Meghan and Harry received from the British people, completely spoiled Kate’s plans.
