Rebel Wilson is recognized for being an actress, comedian and singer but it looks like she is also friends with the royal family. The Austrailian entertainer was on “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen recently and talked about the moment she and her mother met up with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in Santa Barbara, California.
Wilson told Cohen they met up with the couple because Harry and her have mutual friends who like to play Polo. When she arrived and met Harry, she said he could not have been nicer. However, it looks like she can’t say the same about Meghan, ”she was not as cool.”
The actress explained that Meghan wasn’t nice to her or her mother; “she wasn’t as naturally warm” and it looked like the Duchess of Sussex did not want to have a conversation with them. However, Wilson revealed that her mother started to ask Meghan a lot of questions so that might have been the reason:
My mom, being Australian, just asked her all these like, slightly rude questions. Like, ‘where are your kids?’ and things like that. And I’m like, ‘Mom, don’t ask her that.’ and I think she thought ‘Who are these annoying convicts from Australia?’
Meghan Markle is no stranger to negative media attention. In the last few years, she opened up about dealing with the fallout of her mental health after her Oprah interview in 2021. Despite this, some people have shared plenty of great experiences with the controversial figure.
