They have been getting involved in order to generate money. If it’s not a book it’s a documentary on Netflix, and now apparently Meghan Markle would be interested in doing some audiovisual project.

Although Prince Harry’s wife tried to do a podcast, it was quickly canceled, and she says she is quite a difficult person to deal with in the acting industry, so it is not yet clear what her position in the entertainment world will be, if she decides to return.
On Thursday, Bela Bajaria, Netflix’s chief content officer, revealed this information to The Times. The publication claims the Sussexes are working on a couple of unscripted things believed to be documentaries, plus a movie and a series that are in very early development, according to Bajaria at a Netflix promotional event in Hollywood. While exact details are not yet known, all indications are that the film would be an adaptation of Carley Fortune’s novel Meet Me At The Lake, the rights to which the couple acquired last summer.
The bestseller tells the story of the romance between Will and Fern, two young men who meet in their 20s and quickly fall in love. However, when they intend to meet a year later, Will never shows up, leaving Fern devastated. The woman realizes that the story between the two has not come to an end a decade later.
