Meghan Markle has been in the eye of the storm because if she whether or not attends the most important royal event of this year, according to a close source to the royal family, Meghan would not attend King Charles III’s coronation because “she’s not brave enough’’ and Prince Harry could be in the ceremony on his own.
According to Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, the Duchess of Sussex Markle has no intention of attending her father-in-law’s official coronation where he is going to become the new legitimate monarch of the United Kingdom.
It’s likely to be incredibly uncomfortable for them if they attend, particularly Meghan.
The 64-year-old butler claimed Meghan would not be trained to face the discomfort she would feel if she decided to attend the ceremony.
I don’t think Meghan’s brave or strong enough to be there – she’d had to look in the eyes of a family she’s pushed under the bus.
However, the former butler stated there’s uncertainty regarding the Duke’s attendance due to the multiple feuds with the royal family. Prince Harry and Meghan have made a series of statements in which they accuse the royal family of racism and preferential treatment to possible defamatory attacks.
Buckingham Palace could be concerned that the controversies between the dukes and the royal family would overshadow the historic coronation, which had not been celebrated for more than 70 years.
