The Queen Consort Camilla Parker has not had it easy in terms of popularity, and it doesn’t look like it will be different any time soon. She gained a lot of hatred for being the woman that Charles used to cheat on the widely beloved Princess Diana of Wales, more than 30 years ago, and the general public has not let go of that.
The Queen Camilla has been trying to get a better public image, with multiple appearances and showing up to charity events, but it’s quite clear that the British public is not so fond of her yet, and they still have Lady Di in their minds, 23 years after her passing on a tragic car accident.
As if having to deal with Diana’s legacy wasn’t enough, there is yet another woman with more support from the public than her, no other than Meghan Markle, the polemic wife of King Charles’s second son, Prince Harry.
As it turns out, in a recent poll made by British newsletter The Sun where they asked 2.000 people of the UK about their opinion on the Royal Family members, Meghan Markle was on the 8th spot, while, to the surprise of no one, the current Queen Consort Camilla Parker was the 9th, last in the list.
The Queen is currently on a campaign to gain some popularity and enhance her public image, but even with her efforts, the public just refuses to accept her, for example, she was booed and had eggs thrown at her recently in a public appearance in York.
According to some Royal Rumors, this situation is making her quite angry, after all, she is the Queen and should be a beloved personality, not a hated one.
