Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are probably two of the most controversial figures in the Royal Family. Since giving up on their royal titles and moving to the United States in 2020, they have constantly been surrounded by scandals and it looks like things will not change anytime soon as they have been harshly accused of defamation by a famous Youtuber.
Shallon Lester, a content creator focused on celebrity gossip, posted a video on June 27 accusing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of defamation due to the slander and mischaracterization of her persona after one of her videos criticizing them was featured in the controversial couple’s Netflix docuseries, ‘Harry & Meghan.’
After her video was included in one of the episodes of the docuseries, Lester immediately expressed her discontent and revealed that she would take legal action against Meghan and Harry for almost ruining her reputation:
“Believe me when I say I’m pursuing every opportunity to nail their ass to the wall for this. It’s defamation, it’s slander, it’s a mischaracterization. And you know what else it is? Misinformation.”
To no one’s surprise, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are yet again involved in a controversy. However, some royal followers shared their opinion on the situation on social media and advised the couple to just ignore Shallon Lester’s comments as it is a given that they will continue being criticized for everything after leaving the United Kingdom. As of today, they have not released any statement addressing the accusations.
