Since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped out from their royal duties, and subsequently from their titles, the Royal Family and the marriage have been in tension. Almost five years later, Meghan Markle still has something to say to the British crown.
According to The Express UK, the former Duchess of Sussex allegedly wrote a letter to King Charles III complaining about the Royal Family’s rules. Markle reportedly tried to make private contact with the Monarch of the United Kingdom to solve some of the loose ends of her journey as a Royal.
She wanted to ask about why she was prohibited from doing certain things when she was a working royal. In addition, the Express UK also reports that Meghan did try to resolve the challenges she was experiencing behind closed doors, with her having written a letter to her father-in-law. Neil Sean, veteran royal-watcher, wanted to give his insights on why Meghan wanted answers directly from the King:
“Meghan Markle wants some answers from His Majesty the King. She tried to set up a meeting with him, she sent him a letter, and wanted a one-to-one to explain exactly the problems she’s encountered ever since becoming a member of the British monarchy.”
