Happy Pride, EYEKONS! On June 6, KATSEYE’s Megan officially came out as bisexual during a live Weverse stream. Though she’d already hinted at it a month earlier by mouthing “bi” during a livestream, this time she said the words loud and proud while trying on hair extensions with fellow queer member Lara.
With Lara saying, “Just do it. 1, 2, 3!” Megan finally dropped the line: “Guys, I’m coming out, I’m bisexual.”Then, some good vibes and laughter came right after the confession. “I’m like scared now,” she said mid-laugh. “Guys, I came out on Pride Month… so give me that award, girl,” she joked to Lara, who previously snagged the Blooming Impact Award from the LA LGBT Center in May.

The supportive energy was also there. “I’m proud of you, Megan. Everyone say, we love bisexuals!” Lara cheered. Megan happily replied: “We love bisexuals! And while I’m at it, let me also raise awareness about psoriasis. I have psoriasis.” Talk about coming out twice! Lara, who came out earlier this year with a cheeky on Weverse “half fruitcake” label, also shared how hard it was to be publicly queer, especially under the K-pop microscope. “I was really scared… but I was met with so much love and support,” she said. And that’s exactly the energy KATSEYE is putting out: queer, filled with love, colors and chaos (in a good way).
