A few months ago a news that shocked the entire Internet happened as Matthew Perry actor, known for having participated in the series Friends, was found dead and recently his autopsy was revealed, indicating that he had abused some substances. Now new words have come out referring to the actor as an abusive person and that he even lied about his sobriety.

Without a doubt, we are never going to get to know a person, especially a public figure, since we are not privy to what goes on in the privacy of their homes. What is now known is that it seems that the image that the actor Matthew Perry was giving was not the real one.
The “Friends” star was “sober and clean” when the two acquaintances met for lunch the day before his passing, Athenna Crosby told KTLA 5 News in November. However, Perry’s close friends and family had a different version. Sources claim in an exclusive interview with US Weekly that he lied about his recovery both before and during the book’s promotional tour. These reports also suggest that Perry was abusing prescription drugs.
“Everyone close to Matthew was saying he died of an overdose,” the source told the magazine. “The way he dealt with it was by isolating himself. Since [‘Friends’ ended], he was financially well off and didn’t have to work, so he created an environment to use.”
“He threw [her] against a wall and threw something at her and pushed her against a bed,” a source said. “This time, he took threats and insinuations of violence to actual violence.”
