The new Barbie movie was one of the most interesting from its marketing strategy, and the fact is that the movie broke so many records that it is normal that people want more, much more, so the producers are already ahead and we will be able to see even more material of the products that we had in our childhood and made everyone want to be part of this story. With the arrival of Barbie, Mattel decided that there would be more material like that and so now we are waiting for American Girl.

We are already starting with new productions, and Mattel is on the tip of a new world of movie productions, as we have to remember that with the success that Marvel had, it was quickly announced that there would be other toy movies, and we are excited that the next title being talked about is American Girl.
Mattel Films, Paramount Pictures and Temple Hill Entertainment, the producers of Twilight and The Fault in Our Stars, are set to produce American Girl. Lindsey Anderson Beer, the author of “Pet Cemetery: Bloodlines,” is set to write the script and produce. Following its first release, “Barbie,” the company is preparing some 14 live-action films, including movies based on Hot Wheels, Magic 8 Ball, Polly Pocket, Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots and UNO.
Mattel teamed an MGM to produce an “American Girl” movie in 2019, but those plans fell through. American Girl has sold more than 32 million units since its launch in 1986.
“They are historically accurate toys and props that feature elaborate and immersive stories uniquely suited to bring to the screen,” Beer said in a statement. “I’m very excited to tell a story that addresses childhood issues in a real and compelling way.”
