HBO Max has been characterized by its high quality productions and a large number of fans around the world who share with excitement all the new news coming from their series, especially from a great production like Game Of Thrones, where we saw characteristic characters like Arya Stark starring Maisie Williams who was also about to appear in The Last of Us.
Maisie would be the protagonist of the first attempt to bring The Last of Us to the screens as well according to Neil Druckmann who is the Show Runner of The Last of Us. Apparently Maisie William was considered to take a very important role in this movie.
Before the great success of The Last of Us by HBO, the representation of video games on the big screen would be a movie planned by Sony, but, apparently, those responsible for the project had already advanced the idea to such an extent that they began to look for who could play the characters of the successful zombie video game.
In an interview for Hollywood Reporter, Neil revealed that in a short time there were already dozens of candidates for the role of Joy and Ellie and the one who could best suit the latter was Maisie Williams, unfortunately the film was canceled by Sony.
The campaign decided not to make the movie in order to ally HBO, giving a series that so far has been very well accepted by critics as well as fans indicating that the second season is already in production and will arrive on the platform in 2024.
When HBO Max took control of the production, Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin decided to cast Bella Ramsey, who also played a role in Games of Thrones, as Lyanna Mormont.
