The contenders for “Song of the Year” at the 2024 Grammys are all well deserved for the award. On February 4, one of the most important ceremonies, the Grammys is going to be carried out with great performances, and great nominees. “Song of the Year” is one of the four most prestige categories which is described as: “To honor artistic achievement, technical proficiency, and overall excellence in the recording industry, without regard to album sales or chart position.”

“A&W” by Lana del Rey

One of the most prominent songs “Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd” became the favorite of the general public because of the genius marketing behind its title. “A&W” is a fast-food chain but also the expression, “American Whore” talks about sexuality and how she is addicted to it.

The 2022 “Album of the Year” recipient, Jon Batiste, is back again with a great song from “World Music Radio.” The song wasn’t released as a single but is one of the fans’ favorite songs inside the album as it is an homage to the music diversity and his connection with the universe.
