Prince Edward’s daughter, Lady Louise Mountbatten, has always had a private life. Since her parents decided from an early age to keep out of the spotlight, so that her brother, the young James, Earl of Wessex, could lead a normal life. Despite her discretion, we can know that the niece of King Charles III was born prematurely and with sight deviation, so she had to undergo two surgeries, I feel this key event to participate in beneficial causes against vision problems and blindness.
Much of her childhood was spent in Windsor where she developed a love of horses and carriage driving which she shared with her grandfather Prince Philip, which kept them close and after his death she inherited his carriage and where she learned the sport. Having a good relationship with her grandparents and the royal family, she has always kept a low profile, making occasional appearances at the weddings of Prince William, Prince Harry and Princess Eugene.
Although she and her brother do not carry the title of Her Royal Highness and after the departures of two royal members, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward, the possibility of her participation as a royal member opens up as she becomes an important asset for King Charles III, who will need new faces for royal engagements and more so after her retirement from public life following her diagnosis of cancer, it has been commented that the option of entering as an active member of the royal family could be decided in the near future.
