Through a recent post on her social networks, Kris Jenner thanks Meghan Markle for a Mother’s Day gift after the birthday photos controversy, which sparked doubts about their friendship.
On May 6th, the socialite drew attention for posting on her Instagram Stories new gift candles from the Duchess of Sussex brand As Ever and thanking her for this sweet gesture to celebrate this year’s Mother’s Day.
“Thank you @meghan @aseverofficial for the beautiful Mother’s Day gifts! These candles smell so delicious!! Happy Mother’s Day!!!”
In the photo, there are the characteristic packages of the brand with candles from the As Ever line, which can be seen alongside a handwritten Mother’s Day card with the message “Dear Kris, Happy Mother’s Day to the most maternal woman in the world.”
Last year, the two families were involved in speculation of a rift when ‘The Kardashians’ stars removed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s photo post from Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party from social media, which took place on the eve of Remembrance Sunday, the most solemn occasion on the royal family’s calendar.
