Kpop girl group aespa has been putting in work this year. First, they slayed with their most recent EP “My World,” and its main single “Spicy.” It was definitely an aespa era to remember! Then, they blessed us with the summer jam “Better Things,” which is the second bop the group has ever recorded in English. Flashback to 2022: the first one was “Life’s Too Short.”
Now, as we anticipated earlier this week, our Kpop princesses are back with a second video for “Better Things.” Yes, you read that right! The girls previously released an official music video on August 17, slaying that summer and colorful aesthetic. But, This time things come with a little twist, because the second video was titled “Better Things V (æ-aespa Ver.).”
Now, in case you have no idea what that means, we got you covered: remeber aespa’s debut and that concept about technology and avatars for “Black Mamba” or “Savage”? Well, that’s a similar vibe our girls brought here. The alternative version of this jam features members Giselle, Karina, Ningning and Winter as cute little avatars in the music video. And let’s just say these cute characters ate and left no crumbs!
After the video was dropped, aespa fans, also known as MY, couldn’t get enough. The video gives off a totally new and cute vibe for the girls, which MY loved! But that’s not all, aespa has been also giving love to the song by releasing an extra remix version featuring British queen RAYE, who gave her own spin on the song.
