Netflix might have just unlocked its next mega-franchise with “KPop Demon Hunters,” and fans are already buzzing about what’s next following the film’s premiere. According to The Wrap, the platform is ready to double down on the movie’s colossal success. This possibility comes after confirmation that KPop Demon Hunters became Netflix’s most-watched animated release ever.
The streaming giant is reportedly planning not one, but two more movies to turn the hit into a full-blown trilogy. That means more demon-slaying KPop adventures for Rumi, Jinu, and their crew. Talks of a musical or even a live-action spin-off have also been floating around, but for now, the trilogy plan is the one getting real traction.
