The BATFAs have experienced for the very first time the huge strength of the Kpop scene with the performance of “GOLDEN” by the singing voices of HUNTR/X. The ceremony was presented by Alan Cumming at London’s Royal Festival Hall, attended by several stars, including Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Cumming declared to all the audience that they were in for a real treat, as they would witness a performance from one of this year’s biggest films. No doubt, the hosts referred to Netflix’s Kpop Demon Hunters’ fictional girl band, HUNTR/X.

“Can you believe that this song has racked up four billion streams worldwide? With a rendition of their global smash hit Golden. The first time they have performed it outside of the USA. Please welcome Rei Ami, EJAE, and Audrey Nuna.”
The trio split opinion amongst audiences, while some praised the idols’ live vocals and expansion of the Kpop scene, some others found their presentation uncomfortable, explaining that the song is getting tired at some point in the United Kingdom, and wasn’t necessarily to be performed at the BAFTAs stage.
