Netflix really hit the nail on the head with the “Kpop Demon Hunters” release. The film has captivated thousands of Kpop and anime fans, and has even become an interesting movie for the general public. However, what stood out was the soundtrack that is gaining momentum in the United States.

On July 6, Billboard announced that the “Kpop Demon Hunters” soundtrack had reached a new spot inside of the Billboard 200. The soundtrack reached the No.3 spot after debuting at No. 8 last week, becoming the highest-charting soundtrack of 2025.

It also became the highest-charting soundtrack to an animated film since Disney’s “Encanto” reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2022. “Kpop Demon Hunters” earned a total of 62,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on July 3, doubling its record from last week.
