Step aside, Dynamite! There’s a fresh bop running the charts. Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters just made Billboard history thanks to its breakout track “Golden.” On Monday, September 8, 2025, Billboard confirmed the song remained at the #1 spot on the Hot 100 for the fourth straight week, officially beating BTS’ 2020 mega-hit “Dynamite,” which ruled for three. Not too bad for a fictional girl group, right?

“Golden” is performed by the fictional trio HUNTR/X, sung by artists EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI. But the track’s current success didn’t happen randomly! Initially, it debuted at #81  before climbing the ladder to its current crown. Along the way, it locked in seven weeks at No. 1 on the Streaming Songs chart, picked up 34.5 million streams, 22.1 million radio impressions, and a solid 9,000 U.S. sales between August 29 and September 4.

But there’s even more! The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack isn’t just about “Golden.” Three other songs, “Your Idol” (#4), “Soda Pop (#5), and “How It’s Done” (#9), all occupy the Hot 10’s top 10. This makes it the first time in Billboard’s 67-year history that a single soundtrack placed four songs in the Top 10 simultaneously. Just like that, this movie’s soundtrack took Netflix, Spotify, and radio by storm, proving itself as the ultimate triple threat in 2025
