During a quick conversation with Entertainment Tonight, Kirsten Dunst refuses to do a ‘Bring It On‘ sequel saying “leave good things where they are”, amid fans’ mixed opinions on current reboots of old shows.

In the last years, many sequels of old successful shows and movies have come out, generating excitement but in some cases many critics; for that reason, the actress’s reaction was very surprising but also praised.

During the premiere of her most recent movie, ‘Roofman‘, Entertainment Tonight asked her about doing a sequel for the 2000’s teen comedy, to which she replied: “No. I’m like, leave good things where they are”, she said honestly.

She continued her statement, saying, “I don’t need to put on a cheerleading outfit. I don’t even know what I would do—be a coach or something? Let’s leave it as it is”, which made her point clear among ‘Bring It On’ fans.

On social networks, fans and netizens left comments of approval: “Honestly, she’s right. Not everything needs a sequel”, “And she is right. Leave it”, “Tell the rest of Hollywood that!”, “some things were never meant to be touched again!”.
