King Charles reappears for the first time after revealing he has cancer

On Monday, February 5, Buckingham Palace revealed in a statement that King Charles III was diagnosed with cancer following prostate surgery performed last week.

Today, King Charles II was seen leaving his London residence of Clarence House with Queen Camilla Parker, in his first public appearance since it was publicly revealed that he is suffering from cancer.

The 75-year-old monarch and his wife waved smilingly to the crowd from the back seat of the car, revealing that although he is ill, he is still strong enough to show his face and continue to represent the UK monarchy.

According to French news agency AFP, the monarchs were heading to nearby Buckingham Palace before taking a helicopter to their Sandringham residence in eastern England.
