King Charles III is yet to have his coronation ceremony and he has already been through quite a lot of Royal decision making, and the newest scandal in the Buckingham Palace is losing one of its members.

King Charles became king after his equally loved and hated mother, Queen Elizabeth II, passed away after a long reign. His coronation is set to be held this coming May, but he’s already been fulfilling a great deal of royal duties as the king.

His younger brother, Prince Andrew, was involved in a huge scandal that greatly damaged the public image of the Crown. He was revealed to be in the infamous Jeffrey Epstein network that was used to gather children for the obscene entertainment of several very famous and powerful adults, ranging from singers, actors, directors, and of course, Royal personalities.

This happened in 2019, and even though he went through consequences, he was not removed from the Royal family. A years later, he was accused of misconduct by Virginia Giuffre, who revealed that he made intimate physical contact with her when she was just 17 years old.

Both scandals made Andrew the target of the public eye and received multiple hate attacks, rightfully. The crown, in head of his mother, Queen Elizabeth, had no other option but to make him step down as a Royal Family member in 2021, his activities as a royal member were cancelled altogether, his security was removed as well, which used to be paid with taxes.

Now, his older brother, King Charles, has had to make the difficult decision of evicting him from the Buckingham Palace, home of the British Royal Family. Andrew had his residence, his work office and many other amenities in the Buckingham Palace that he can no longer use of. ()

  • Relative to many of his ancestors, Prince Andrew is a mild case. As law enforcement authorities have asserted, the Duke of York broke no laws in his association with Jeffrey Epstein. But the public outrage at his association is the cause of his downfall.

  • The Royal family… what a mess! Queen Elizabeth was somewhat easy on Prince Andrew. Seems Prince Charles III is trying to ease the shame brought to the family.
Unfortunately, nothing he does to Prince Andrew or other Royal will change our perception.
Prince Charkes III must focus on apologies to all the countries the British colonies, pay reparations to all who subjected to slavery, and return all treasures taken from every country.

  • I think the Queen’s decision to kick Andrew was a fair and correct decision. I don’t think Charles needs to change his mother’s decision. But Andrew is so used to being tended to by servants, security people and a free place to live, he doesn’t know how to work for money so he keeps spending his time looking for ways to stay within the royal family by pushing Charles buttons. King Charles needs to learn to put his foot down and keep it there instead of waffeling.

  • I think this is ridiculous since Buckingham Palace is being renovated extensively and Prince Andrew’s area is one of those areas, so he cannot live or work there. Quit trying make trouble where there isn’t any.

  • King Charles III seems to be feeling his power these days. I am not sure I could expel my brother from his home. I can agree that Prince Andrew should no longer represent the Royal Family, but this seems a bit harsh to me.

Having said that, I am an American and therefore, don’t know how the English people feel about the King’s actions. Perhaps he is getting off lightly. I look forward to ready more opinions.

  • He’s absolutely no better than his brother. In fact, he worse. There’s a word for people like him … hypocrites! How unfortunate the Queen wasn’t able to bypass Charles for William. While he clearly doesn’t have his mother’s good health, who knows how long he’ll be around. I would strongly suggest Andrew write a book. Look how well Hapless did with Spare.
