King Charles III continues to retaliate against the United Kingdom’s most controversial couple. It is being reported that the monarch won’t allow Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children to receive royal titles due to the couple’s nasty behavior towards the royal family.

Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, born in 2019, and Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor, born in 2021, are the first and second children of Harry and Meghan. However, they still haven’t received a royal title and it looks like they will never get one.

According to Richard Fitzwilliam, a royal expert, the King’s decision to evict the couple from Frogmore Cottage is a clear sign that the controversial family is not welcome in the country and therefore, it’s “highly unlikely” that the children will receive royal titles in the future as they were not outright entitled to prince or princess titles.

The main reason why Archie and Lilibeth did not get royal tiles when they were born was because they were great-grandchildren of the monarch. After Queen Elizabeth II died in 2022 and King Charles III assumed the throne, they became the grandchildren of the monarch and gained eligibility to receive one.

Under the current guidelines, the greatchildren of a male sucession line are entitled to take a prince or princess title. Howerver, it is important to note that Prince Harry and Meghan stopped being senior royals in 2020 and since their children don’t usually visit the country,  the King does not want to give them one.

The two children remain listed as “Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor” and “Miss Lilibet Mountbatten- Windsor” on the royal family’s website and they are sixth and seventh in line to the throne, according to the official line of succession.
