King Charles III paid tribute to Balmoral

King Charles III, who has always been sentimental when it comes to Balmoral, has paid a sweet tribute, describing the e Scottish estate as a place of deep personal significance for the Royal Family in the foreword to a new guidebook celebrating the historic property.

The 80-page publication, Balmoral, the Monarch of the United Kingdom, has called the state “cherished Scottish home.” The architecture and surrounding highland landscape were the determining factors for the King to fall in love with the place.

In addition, King Charles III has reflected on his lifelong connection to Balmoral, saying it has held a “uniquely special place” in the hearts of his family since childhood. The late Queen Elizabeth II even particularly treasured her time at the estate and chose to spend her final days there.

This new guidebook has just reflected the recent changes made under King Charles III’s stewardship, including the creation of a geometric maze, redesigned garden gates, and the addition of artworks from the Royal Collection.
