King Charles III and Prince Harry’s relationship has not been on the best terms since Prince Harry openly attacked the Royal Family in his memoir, Spare. On top of that, a close source to Charles recently revealed that the King is sad and bewildered due to Harry’s constant attitude and behavior.
Although the Duke of Sussex attended King Charles III’s coronation ceremony a few weeks ago, Harry did not interact with any member of the royal family except for Princess Anne which is a clear sign that the situation between the two parties might be worse than it appears and that any reconciliation attempts have been a failure.
According to the Daily Mail, an anonymous source revealed that Charles is deeply affected and frustrated because of Harry’s behavior:
“The King brings Harry up every time I see him. I don’t think we’ve moved past sad and bewildered, but there’s a bit more frustration at his behavior because it just keeps going.”
In addition, it looks like King Charles III’s frustration comes from Prince Harry’s recent visit to the United Kingdom as a part of his lawsuit against Mirror Group Newspapers. During his visit, he only attended the court hearings but he did not show any intention to reconcile with his father and did not even attempt to reach out to him.
