Close sources told ‘The Sun‘ the UK monarch was ‘very excited‘ after he traveled from London to Windsor Castle for having a private lunch with his daughter-in-law, Princess of Wales, the day before she made public her cancer diagnosis.
This Thursday, January 21st, Kate Middleton expected to talk with King Charles III, who was also diagnosed with cancer on the first days of February, to share with him how she was facing her fight against the disease and her intention to make public the video recorded on Wednesday.
The source also said that they talked about the treatment they are receiving and that “they are very close, and he considers Kate like a daughter“, for which they are expecting to support each other in their own battles against cancer.
