KATSEYE joins the performer lineup for the AMAs
KATSEYE will be taking over the stage at the 52nd American Music Awards, according to official announcements shared on social media on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. The girl group is one of the featured acts for this year’s ceremony, which will take place in Las Vegas. This performance will add yet another major television appearance to the group’s growing list of high-profile events, showing their strong demand in the pop landscape.
The group arrives with three nominations this year
KATSEYE also enters the 2026 AMAs with three nominations. The “Pinky Up” singers are nominated for new artist of the year, best music video for “Gnarly,” and breakthrough pop artist. Among duos and groups, only Fuerza Regida received more nominations, with five. In addition, KATSEYE is tied for second place, having three nods with BTS, HUNTR/X, The Marías, and Sleep Token. The group recently performed at Coachella 2026 and is currently promoting as a five-member team made up of Daniela, Lara, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae. The sixth member, Manon, remains on hiatus to focus on her “health and well-being.” It is unclear whether she will rejoin KATSEYE at some point this year.

The ceremony will air live on May 25, 2026
The 52nd American Music Awards will air live on Monday, May 25, 2026, from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Queen Latifah will host the show, which will be broadcast on CBS and stream on Paramount+. The nominations were announced on April 14, 2026, and fan voting opened the same day. Voting will remain open until May 8, 2026. Tickets for the event are already available, and the show returns to Memorial Day programming for the second year in a row.
