KATSEYE confirms the release of Wild

KATSEYE will release their third EP, Wild, on August 14, 2026, according to an announcement from Hybe x Geffen Records made on Thursday, April 15, 2026. The new mini-album will arrive more than a year after the group’s previous effort, “Beautiful Chaos.” That earlier project became an important step in the group’s rise, earning strong public attention, commercial success, and social media virality. Its five tracks helped KATSEYE gain traction globally, and the project collected 1 billion Spotify streams in less than five months.

Now, their upcoming EP Wild started its rollout, with the members themselves posting a celebratory video on social media. In the clip, posted on April 15, the five members say, “they don’t know we’re about to announce our new EP Wild.” The video then cuts to footage of their Coachella crowd from the week prior, on April 10, as their latest single “Pinky Up” is playing.

Beautiful Chaos continues to show strong results

The group’s second EP also performed well on major US charts. “Beautiful Chaos” reached #4 on the Billboard 200 and stayed on the chart for 41 weeks. Two songs from the project also entered the Billboard Hot 100. “Gabriela” remained on the chart for 28 weeks and reached #21, while “Gnarly” spent 13 weeks there and peaked at #82. In addition, the girl group was nominated for two Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or a Group, thanks to “Gabriela.”

Coachella performances arrived as Manon remains on hiatus

KATSEYE also made their festival debut at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this month. The group introduced the single “Pinky Up” on April 10, 2026, during weekend 1, and later performed again on April 17, 2026, for weekend 2. The song entered Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart at No. 18. Meanwhile, member Manon remains on hiatus to focus on her health and mental well-being, according to HYBE and Geffen.

Although reports initially said she could have re-joined the group at Coachella, the Swiss member did not perform with them on any of the weekends. Instead, she appeared during PinkPantheress’ set on April 18, 2026. At the time of posting, it is still unclear whether Manon will return to the group or if they will continue as five members. However, the Swiss member does not appear to be included in this rollout at all, being excluded from “Pinky Up” and the concept photos released so far.
