Sophia and Yoonchae went live to talk about their meeting with BTS

During a recent live stream on Weverse, KATSEYE members talk about meeting BTS at the Las Vegas concert backstage, sharing details of this exciting reunion with their agency seniors.

On May 24th, the girl group attended the boys’ second day of concert in Las Vegas for their ‘ARIRANG World Tour,’ but before the show, they were invited to go backstage, where they personally interacted, making an appearance on Jungkook’s vlog.

Later, Sophia and Yoonchae went live to share their experience at the BTS concert. “We just went to a BTS concert. It was our first time going to one and… it was amazing. Truly. They performed incredibly.”

The Philippines singer talked about both of them being ARMYs for a long time and their feelings about this concert that made them cry. While the Korean idol continued revealing that there was another big moment before the concert:

“I started crying because we met them. And thereafter, it was like my brain shut down. And I was like… (feigning surprise) the whole time.”

Sophia explained that they, alongside their member Megan, had the opportunity to go backstage before the concert started, sharing details about their interaction and the boys’ personalities:

“Yes, we met all the members, and they were all so down-to-earth, so kind. I went back to being a total chatterbox, talking nonstop. But in a good way; we were all chatting a lot, and it was really sweet. Yes, they were so kind.”

In addition, the KATSEYE leader also exposed Yoonchae’s fun reaction when watching the boys. “I looked to my right, and Yoonchae wasn’t saying anything. She was trying to pull herself together. And then I thought, ‘Yoonchae is from Korea. She speaks Korean, right? You speak Korean too.'”

For her part, Yoonchae said, “My heart just sank when she said that. I was just…” “Gwenchana, gwenchana,” and concluded by recalling she said, “I forgot Korean again. When I’m nervous, I forget Korean,” demonstrating that it was a very important moment for her.
