Coachella could reportedly have BTS added to its 2027 lineup, according to a new report about the festival’s upcoming plans. Hits Daily Double has shared that Goldenvoice, the company behind the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, is in serious negotiations to book the 7-member team. The festival is scheduled to return to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, on April 9 through April 11 and April 16 through April 18, 2027, marking a new edition of music history.
The report has received significant attention following Goldenvoice president and CEO Paul Tollett’s visit to Seoul earlier in 2026. Tollett attended BTS’ full-group comeback concert at Gwanghwamun Square on March 21 and was reportedly seen watching the performance alongside HYBE chairman Bang Si-hyuk. Previous reports also claimed that discussions involving BTS, Goldenvoice and AEG Presents had taken place earlier this year.
BTS’ current touring dates could lead to a Coachella headlining set. The last confirmed concert of the “ARIRANG” world tour is scheduled for March 16 in Bulacan, Philippines, approximately three weeks before the festival begins. Despite the possibility, some fans have shared mixed reactions, expressing that the group is bigger than the festival. Amid these rumors, BTS is currently performing four sold-out concerts at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles before continuing its world tour in South America.
