In a recent interaction with fans, KATSEYE members confirmed their attendance to Pride events, as Lara said Yoonchae will be her ally companion at the upcoming celebrations for Pride Month.
On May 30th, the singer of Indian descent talks to her fans through Weverse DM about feeling so inspired and a new song from Ariana Grande; she even surprises fans by talking about her and her member’s participation in LGBTQ+ events in June.

This revelation received much attention and support from fans on social networks who are expecting to see the girls celebrating Pride Month together: “Love seeing allies showing up and standing together for Pride 🏳️🌈✨,” “That’s beautiful—solidarity like that is exactly what Pride is about 🏳️🌈🤝.”
After Lara came out as part of the LGBTQ+ community in March 2025 through the Weverse platform, she has become a highly visible and active voice in the representation of queer people within the global pop industry, and now Yoonchae will be part of it.
