On February 21st, the Swiss singer announced her temporary hiatus to take care of her health, but hours later, while fans expressed their concern, one of the girls’ fathers made controversial comments discrediting her position in the group.
Through his Threads account, Rafael Avanzini answers fans’ comments about Manon’s hiatus and their hopes of KATSEYE staying a six-member group, saying, “5 is ok too” and “We need girls who can grind. KATSEYE is power house 🏠 the show must go on.”

On Instagram, Daniela’s dad also left a comment saying, “THE SHOW MUST GO ON! With or without a member. KATSEYE IS BIGGER THAN ONE GIRL,” immediately generating negative comments from fans and rumors about the real reason behind Manon’s hiatus.
