KATSYE recently became the talk of the town for their astonishing Coachella performance and release of their new single, “PINKY UP.” The idols were meant to embark on a South Korean schedule to promote their song on the different music program circuits.
On May 1, KATSEYE’s music agency made a short but substantial statement over the current situation KATSEYE is going through regarding the upcoming performances. They announced their “Music Bank” appearance has been cancelled due to unavoidable scheduling commitments during their current visit to Korea.
The announcement was shared via Weverse, where the agency apologized to the fans for the unexpected cancellation and hopes that KATSEYE can appear on a “Music Bank” episode in the near future. Read the full statement below:
“Hello, this is KATSEYE Weverse.
Due to scheduling commitments, KATSEYE is unfortunately unable to join the team at KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’ this trip, but hopes to visit and perform with them on a future occasion.
We sincerely appreciate your continued support during KATSEYE’s time in Korea.
While the cancellation came at short notice, the group continues to carry out their promotional activities in Korea, with fans showing ongoing support across social media platforms.”
