It is well known that Kate Middleton became the patron of the Rugby Football Union in 2022, after Prince Harry was forced to give up the position as part of the ‘Megxit’ deal. Since then, the Princess has done an exceptional job.
On January 12, 2026. Kensington Palace reported that the Princess will host a reception at Windsor Castle on Thursday for England’s Women’s Rugby Team following their World Cup victory last year. Unfortunately, Kate Middleton missed the team’s triumph against Canada due to health issues, as she is recovering from cancer.
