The Princess of Wales Kate Middleton, on the occasion of the celebration of what would have been the 97th birthday of the late Queen Elizabeth II, has published a very tender photograph of the monarch with several of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, touching thousands of royal fans.
Today, Prince William‘s wife was active on the official Instagram account she shares with her husband. In it, the future queen posted a group photo of the late Queen Elizabeth II with some of her grandchildren.
The former monarch appears surrounded by some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including the children of the Prince and Princess of Wales, Princess Charlotte and her brothers, Princes George and Louis. The image was taken in the summer of 2022 by Kate Middleton herself, Queen Elizabeth II appears happy to be alongside some of her family members.

Kate Middleton, perhaps, would not have imagined that this would be the last photo of Queen Elizabeth II with her grandchildren. Her death occurred last September 8th, and her departure resulted in her eldest son, Charles III, becoming the new monarch of the United Kingdom.
