The famous ring, with a central sapphire jewel surrounded by precious stones, now belongs to Kate Middleton. “It’s the same ring and it’s exactly the same size as when I tried it on. It’s very special. What an honor to be able to wear it. I never, sadly, got to meet her.”
Kate also addressed the important role that Princess Diana would have exerted on her grandchildren by saying that she would have been a “brilliant” grandmother to her and Prince William’s three children. Kate’s comments have led some royal experts to believe that she might be hinting at the fact that Camilla Parker is not a good grandmother.
