We all know that members of the crown have to follow a lot of rules, so seeing on camera a gesture from the princess has caught a lot of attention from all the people through social media.

On September 19, 2022, Charlotte curtsied before the late queen’s coffin as she left Westminster Abbey alongside Kate and other prominent royals, including her great-aunt, the Duchess of Edinburgh, her aunt, the Duchess of Sussex, and her step-grandmother, Queen Camilla.

The video, which was posted on TikTok on Jan. 15 by user svyl2, shows the little-known instance in which Kate appeared to tell her daughter when it was time to curtsy, and Charlotte quickly followed suit. The video, titled “Princess Kate and Princess Charlotte,” has received more than 200,000 views in less than a day, more than 9,000 likes, and a slew of comments, many of which have been critical of the mother-daughter royal team.

Let’s remember that no matter the position, respect for the crown always takes priority, and that is why royal members cannot do what they want in public, they must always show composure and be empirical with those around them, making them win the hearts of all Britons. What do you think about it, and do you know of any other bowing gestures? Have you seen other royals do something like this?
