However, it is not the only nickname he has, because for security reasons, the royals usually have code names that are used in situations where it would not be a good option to mention the public name of that person or to name him discreetly without others knowing it.
The future monarch is codenamed ‘Danny Collins‘, while his wife is ‘Daphne Clark‘; apparently, they have the same initials, ‘D.C.’ referring to their previous position, which would be Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, although there is an older nickname for Prince William according to his younger brother, Harry.
The Duke of Sussex made a revelation in his controversial memoir naming Prince William as ‘Willy‘, which would be more of a diminutive of his real name. The media also confirmed that Duchess Meghan Markle, at the beginning of the relationship, called him Big Willy.
