Fortunately, Mnet confirmed that the Produce 101 Season 2 group will reunite for a new variety show scheduled for the first half of 2026. However, Kang Daniel brought a moment of truth regarding his involvement in the project.
The announcement quickly sparked enthusiasm among loyal fans, many of whom hoped to see all the members fully participate in this new variety show. Daniel Kang took over Weverse to answer some of the questions asked by the fans regarding his return to the show:

Kang Daniel: “Ah, I’ve been getting a lot of questions about this, so I want to answer… but it’s a reality show, right? And since I’ll be going abroad to study next year, probably just for the intro… together…?”
Fans were confused after the idol stated he would be studying abroad. However, Daniel Kang immediately cleared the air, explaining that it means military.
