Jungkook of BTS donates millions to help sick children from low-income families

If there is one thing that characterizes the members of BTS, it is their constant work to help different social causes and make a positive impact with their platform as global artists. This time it was Jeon Jungkook, who did not hesitate to make a tremendous donation to a good cause.

The 25-year-old idol has donated 1 billion won ($758,667) to a local hospital, as reported by the Seoul National University Children’s Hospital, the recipient of the donation, on Tuesday, and the backstory left netizens truly touched.

The hospital said the performer of songs such as “Euphoria” and “Dreamers” made the donation on Friday last week, asking with much fervor that the money should be mandatorily earmarked for the treatment of child patients from low-income families.

I hope it will help sick children and they can smile with health,” were Jungkook’s words. The idol is currently working on the production of his debut album, which is scheduled to be released between the last quarter of 2023 and the first quarter of 2024.
