In his recent interview with The Sunday Times Style, actor Joe Alwyn talks about his split after a six-year relationship with Taylor Swift, saying that it is ‘a hard thing to navigate‘ as the media has been very indiscreet about it, distorting the information.
Alwyn explained, “What’s unusual and abnormal about this situation is that, a week later, suddenly it’s public knowledge and the outside world can weigh in“, and later he added, “And the truth is, to that last point, there’s always going to be a gap between what’s known and what’s said. I’ve made peace with that“.
The actor also revealed that his relationship with Taylor Swift was a genuine thing: “It was never something to market and I don’t see any reason to change that now“. For that reason, he doesn’t understand the media show: “So you have something very real suddenly thrown into a very unrealistic space: tabloids, social media, the press, where it’s then dissected, speculated, distorted beyond recognition“.

Joe Alwy said, “I feel fortunate to be in a really great place in my life, professionally and personally“, while Taylor Swift is in a new relationship with American football player Travis Kelce and is realizing a successful world tour titled ‘The Eras Tour‘ of all her hits.
