YG Entertainment just dropped major news: our queen, Jisoo of BLACKPINK, could be on the list to light up the big screen in the upcoming film “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint.” All of her other band members have been doing major moves, take Jennie for example, who had a role in “The Idol.” Because of this, it just makes sense to have Jisoo in a movie!
So, you read that right! Our dazzling Kpop hitmaker is seriously considering using her star power for the movie world – and we’re totally vibing with the idea. Fortunately, we’re also not the only ones having hopes for Jisoo’s movie career.
Actually, YG Entertainment has confirmed that talks for the role of the BLACKPINK member are happening, and it looks like Jisoo is all in for her acting era. Just picture it: Jisoo, sharing the screen with some of South Korea’s finest like Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Min Ho, and Nana? That’s what we call a dream team!
It’s also not the first time the BLACKPINK visual queen has taken on roles in media productions. In the past, she’s had cameos in older stuff, but she really broke into the spotlight (at least when it comes to acting) with her role in Snowdrop. In this KDrama, she starred with Jung Hae-in. Let’s just say the series gave everybody a taste of Jisoo’s acting power, and it looks like they’re thirsty for more!
